Swingley

Our Swingley family has been traced definitively back to Johann Peter Schwingel and his wife, Mary Catherine Bashore.  Their son, Michael, changed the name to Swingley.  I was fortunate to have found Michael's gravestone in the New Antioch Cemetery of Clinton County, Ohio.  In this same cemetery are numerous Bashore/Basore relatives.
