Our Brunson lines remains clouded and steeped in family legend. The furthest I have been able to take this line is back to Joseph C. Brunson, born September 1872 in Kansas. Family legend, however, states that our Brunson line came from the McBrannan clan of Ireland via the pinal colonies of Australia. I have been unable to substantiate any of this but do know that Joseph married an Australian immigrant named Mary Cunningham, in Washington state.
