Turkey & Calico Bean Chili

Ingredients:
1¼ lbs. extra lean ground turkey, 7% fat
42 oz canned diced tomatoes (3 cans)
15 oz canned dark red kidney beans, undrained
15 oz canned cannellini beans, undrained
15 oz canned black beans, drained and rinsed
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium sweet red pepper, diced
1 medium green bell pepper, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1 Tbsp chili powder, or to taste
2 tsp ground cumin, or to taste
1 tsp salt, or to taste
Instructions:
In a large dutch oven over medium heat, begin browning turkey. Add garlic, onion, and peppers. Cook until turkey is cooked through and onion and peppers are tender, about 7 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, spices, and cilantro cook about 5 minutes or until heated through.
Special Information:
For spicier chili, add 1 minced jalapeno pepper. For zestier chili, use diced tomatoes with onion and garlic. This chili can also be made with ground beef. Use extra lean ground beef with 5% fat and the POINTS value stays the same.
Serve this chili by itself or topped with 2 Tbsp of fat-free sour cream or 2 Tbsp of low-fat shredded cheese. Each topping will add 1 POINT per serving.
If divided into 8 servings, each serving will have a POINTS value of 5.
