Special Information:
There's no reason to give up the joy and nutrition of avocado as you are losing weight and developing a healthy lifestyle. Avocado is a nutrient dense fruit containing 20 powerful nutrients including folate, oleic acid, and potassium, just to name a few. Though high in fat, it contains monounsaturated fat similar to that found in olive oil. Enjoy this dip with carrots, celery, jícama or bell pepper strips, light potato or baked tortilla chips, or reduced-fat multi-grain crackers.
