The humpbacked flute player, Kokopelli, has become one of the most recognized Native American symbols in the Southwest. He is known as a seducer of girls, bringer of babies, tutelary of hunting, and one of the many dancers in the Mixed Kachina Dance and Night Dance of the Hopi culture. The image of kokopeli has been found gracing the surfaces of even prehistoric Hohokam pottery. Three of the famous flute players dance across this rustic clay roof tile...you can almost hear the music!
