Welcome to Plain Jane's Critter Clutter

This site contains an ever-growing collection of original artwork available for use on personal webpages. There are several ways of acquiring the graphics that you'd like to use, however, this is not a click and swipe site. Everything on these pages, including the backgrounds, is copyrighted by the artist and covered under copyright law. So, If you'd like to use any of the graphics here, please read the Terms of Use and follow the Instructions below.

Instructions

If you are looking for small graphics and animations, like the little teddy bears and penguins on this page, take a look under Litter Critters. To acquire Litter Critters, simply complete the required form and you will receive a link, via email, to a page where you can right click and save the requested graphic(s) and your choice of linkware tag(s). Please complete the required fields on the form before submitting. You should receive an email response within 48 hours. If not, please Contact Jane with your request. There is no limit to the number of Litter Critters you can use on your site, as long as proper credit and a link back to this page are used. The Terms of Use apply to all of the Litter Critter images.

If you are addicted to adoptions or searching for a cyberpet, check out the Acme Adoptions. To adopt a friend from the Adoption Shoppe, simply complete the required form and you will receive your adoptee and its adoption certificate, via email. Please complete the required fields on the form before submitting. You should receive your adoptee within 48 hours. If not, please Contact Jane with your request. Each image can only be adopted 3 times before it is retired for a minimum of one year, so the number of images you can adopt at any one time is also limited. The limit will be determined by the specific images and where they will be placed. An adoptee should be used only once on your site and should be accompanied by its certificate on the same page. The Terms of Use apply to all of the Adoption Shoppe images.

Currently the Graphics Boutique is not open for business. This will, however, be the place to purchase Critter Clutter graphics that you can use to open your own adoption agency. A modified version of the Terms of Use, available prior to purchase, apply to all of the Graphics Boutiques images.

Basic Terms of Use

All images are original artwork and are available (whether by free download, purchase, or "adoption") for personal use only.

Do not change or alter the graphic(s) in any way, including, but not limited to, size, shape, color, or file format. These graphics are sold as is and must stay that way. Altering them does not change the copyright or make them your own creation. If you have a special request, please contact the artist.

Do not change or alter the "alt" tag or javascript which may accompany each graphic or graphic animation.

The graphic(s) may not be used in any copyrighted material, placed in other collections, galleries, or on cd's, and are not intended for resale or redistribution in any form unless permission is granted by the artist for a specific use. This includes purchased graphics.

Because these graphics are intended as linkware, you must have a "G" rated* webpage on which to place them and you must link back to this site using one of the tags or text links provided for this purpose. The tag or text link must appear on at least one of the pages where the graphic resides.

Do not use any of the graphics in emails, eStationery, Incredimails, guestbooks, or message boards, including, but not limited to, Yahoo clubs, Expage, or Neopets.

You must download your choice of graphic(s) to your hard-drive and upload them to your server. DO NOT link directly to the graphics on these pages as this constitutes bandwidth theft and is illegal.

We recommend that any page containing a graphic from this site include the "No Right Click" javascript and the "Disable Image Bar" meta tag. Both of these are available at DynamicDrive. Currently, this is only a recommendation, however, we reserve the right to make this a requirement in the future.

Please do not use the graphic(s) as a banner or a button without permission of the artist and do not share them with others. If someone asks, please refer them to this site so they can read the terms of use and use them accordingly.

Use of any image found on this site is considered acknowledgement of and agreement with these terms of use.

* Your webpage must be for General Audiences. No pornography, profanity, or hate related content. Adoptables are enjoyed by a wide audience, including children.
